June 5-6, 2014, 1pm to 5pm

INCLUSIVE of a one day Modeling Catwalk Workshop and a photoshoot.

How to Join?

2. Go to the FABE STUDIO, ESNA Bldg., 30 Timog Avenue, Quezon City, beside Mcdonald's Timog.

3. Bring the 2k registration fee, Additional 500 pesos for the hair and make up.

4. Bring 2 sets of clothes. Any theme will do.

5. We will have a photoshoot during the registration.

6. Copies of the Photoshoot will be uploaded on my FB.

 

What are the benefits?

1. You get to be part of a live fashion show and model search at SM CITY NORTH EDSA, SKYDOME

2. You will ramp for 2 shows, in 2 days. Providing you MAXIMUM EXPOSURE.

3. If you are a singer or a dance performer, you will have 2 segments during the show. 

4. The clothes during the fashion show will have a theme. We will inform you what theme we will do every fashion show.

5. You can invite all your friends to watch you do the fashion show. It's at SM City North Edsa Skydome.

6. You will get pictures and videos that you can download here at my FB. The photos will be part of your modelling portfolio.

7. A Wardrobe stylist will help you in dressing up during the show.

FABE Fashion Show at SM City North Edsa - August 9, Saturday

Are you an aspiring model?

Do you want to start a modelling career?

Join the Fabe Fashion Show this August 9, Saturday at the SM City North Edsa, Skydome

Registration fee is only Php 2,500 pesos exclusive of make up.

The purpose of this activity is to provide you exposure and a first step into modelling.

We are also accepting aspiring singers and dancers.

The fee is also the same and we will give you performance slots during the show.

What are the requirements?

There are no requirements since this show is for aspiring models.

Anyone can join from ages 5 years old to 29 years old.

What is included in the Php 2,500 registration fee?

1. A Studio Photoshoot

   Please bring 2 sets of clothes. Any theme will do

   Hair and Make up during the studio photoshoot

   Please bring a USB if you want to have a copy of your photoshoot. We will give it to you after the shoot.

2. A Modelling Workshop

   The  modelling workshop will be conducted a week before the show. It will teach you how to ramp.

   It will provide you tips on how to catwalk.

3. A Fashion Show at the SM City North Edsa Skydome

   As a registrant, you will be part of the fashion show on August 9, Saturday.

   Pictures and Videos of the event will be uploaded in Facebook right after the show.

   Excluded : The hair and make up during the fashion show is not included. If you need hair and make up during the show, there is just an additional Php 500 pesos fee.

How much is the Tuition Fee of Grade 3 Miriam College for Schoolyear 2014 - 2015

Today is the Grade 3 enrollment at Miriam College.

The tuition fee for Grade 3 at Miriam is Php 91,538.00 pesos if you pay in cash.

They do offer two other payment options.

Plan B at 2 payments

This is my daughters' 5th year at Miriam College. She started her First Step here.

Usually I get the Plan C payment since the difference with Plan B is minimal.

One thing that I don't like in Miriam's Policy is that they charge a 2% penalty if you don't pay on time. I don't know why they do this. They just implemented this I think, 2 years ago. They always promote to be good and kind to others but they practice another thing inside. Maybe they are really into money making.

With regards to their curriculum, I don't have a problem. Actually, it is very rigid. I myself find the training rigorous considering I went to exclusive schools too.. I don't remember my assignments to be that hard.

The amounts given are inclusive of everything EXCEPT uniforms and textbooks.

The textbooks alone, please allot Php 10,000 pesos..-parang college lang no..he he

The uniforms on the other hand is about 5,000 pesos but if you have existing uniforms, it will do, maybe you just need to buy the PE uniforms and the socks. Miriam has it's own socks. You cannot wear any other socks just the Miriam socks. It's the same price with the department stores so it's just ok.

Choices for Singapore Hotels

I have a coming vacation next week and usually I have a travel budget, meaning I have limitations.

First I check the prices of the airfares, if it is within reason then the vacation is a go. It is a treat to myself with my brother. We plan to go around Southeast Asia. First stop is Singapore.

I usually check Agoda.com because they offer Paypal payment. It's very secure and it's fast. I have a Paypal account and I usually use this since it's fraud free.

Once I make a search on Agoda then I go to Tripadvisor.com since they do have customer reviews of all the hotels. It's helps a lot in making the final decision.

My budget per night for Singapore is only Php 5,000.

Here are my options:

1. York Hotel at Php 6,886 a night

2. Amara Hotel at Php 5,319 a night

3. Rendezvous Hotel at Php 6,000 a night - I have stayed at this hotel years ago. I had pleasant memories on this hotel since it is beside a mall and a cinema that is open 24 hours. Amazing isn't it. But that is about 8 years ago, you can just imagine how forward Singapore is.

4. Orchard Parade at Php 6,748 a night. It's near Orchard Road, the only shopping district in Singapore.

5. Village Hotel Bugis at Php 4,218.

All the rates do not include the 10 percent Singapore Tax.

I'm not sure on what hotel will I buy. I'm still looking for other options.

By the way, the purpose of me going to Singapore is just to go to Universal Studios.

The moment I saw him on tv, he was hot. I just came back from Boracay and when I opened my tv, it was tuned in to ABS and the program was Pinoy Big Brother.

They have a great pool of kids for this season and I'm sure it is going to be a big hit again.

Tokidoki is in Manila

If you love anything Japanese, then, you are a sure in for a treat.

Tokidoki is here in Manila. They do have an exhibit at the main atrium of SM North, The Block. My first encounter of Tokidoki is at Rustans Shangrila. I saw a cute sling bag with all the Japanese drawings on it. I bought it immediately. It was about 3k plus. Later I knew that it was a women's bag...ha ha... But I was so amazed by the drawings that I told myself I should have it.

The Tokidoki exhibit features it's different drawings. Hope you can pass by SM North Edsa, The Block.

Entrance is FREE.
