Thailand version of the Balut

I will be going on a food trip to Bangkok, Thailand this coming July 21. This tour is organized by the Thai master chef, James Wora. I think we are a big group of 15 and he will tour us around Bangkok's eating places that are not frequented by foreigners. I'm a bit excited to join this trip since I have never been on a food tour.

I chanced upon this article and it mentions Thailand's 13 most repulsive dishes. I found their version of our Philippine balut which is called Kai Khao. Among the 13 dishes that was featured, I think I'll just try this one. Most of the dishes are raw which we also eat here like "kinilaw".

If you're more the adventurous side and have a strong stomach, check out the 13 dishes, you might like something.

A Red Velvet Sebago Shoe

Shopping is usually a woman's character and hobby, but I am too is addicted to shopping especially on beautiful things.

It's my Sunday's routine to go to the mall which his usually Trinoma since it's only 10 minutes away from my place. There was a shoe exhibit there featuring very unique shoes. The design is like my topsider shoes when I was growing up. The brand is Sebago which I'm not really familiar with. Anyway, the designs of the shoes looks great and I later found out that there was a silent bidding for it. It's a fun raising activity for Habitat for Humanity. The shoes initial bid is Php 10,000.  The exhibit is located along the alleyway going to Mindanao parking. You can read more of this silent auction here after searching it online.

The Sebago shoe store is also located nearby. I visited the store and I saw these topsider design shoes that comes in red and blue velvet. I asked my brother which is better and he told me the red one since I don't have red topsiders. So I end up buying it. It's about Php 4,889.75.

The shoes were ok. Not really the comfortable ones like Crocs which is so nice to wear since they are really comfortable. Maybe I'll wear this shoes for travel or for watching late night movies where I don't really need to do much walking.
